We return again for our monthly Sunday Soiree and DJ workshop, aimed at womxn, queer and non-binary folk. This month we’ll be moving on to Beginners level 2, suitable for anyone who has a little experience on the decks, or those of you who have already attended the beginners sessions.

The session will run from 7-9pm in the Basement of Dalston Superstore.

The workshop will cover the following:

• CDJ (Basic Functions - Recap)

• Mixer (Basic Functions - Recap)

• Phrasing / Metering

• Setting Cue Points

• Basic Mixing Techniques (Fade / Cut / Chop)

• A Basic Beatmatch

• Using EQ in your mixing transitions

While our previous workshops have been free, we’re now asking for a small £10 fee / deposit for our more advanced workshops. This is also because spaces are limited to 4 people per session, and the deposit will ensure all ticket holders will be in attendance on the day. In return for the deposit, you will receive a drinks token (to be used on the evening of the event) a 2 hour workshop and some Femmme Fraiche merchandise.
